I’m excited to share Cathedral to Chapel with you. With over 40 years of liturgical music experience and computer programming skills, I created this ministry for the two rural churches I attend. Now I am sharing this with other churches who might also have limited musical resources.  Subscriptions help defray internet charges and other costs.

After retiring from my “day job,” I asked the pastor of our local, rural church how I could help with music. I was directed to their Saturday evening mass at one of their mission churches. That mass is staffed with a cantor, and the facility has a beautiful Allen organ that no one could play. I created music with a musical keyboard and computer which could be played on the organ.

In discussions with other parishes and other denominations, it became clear that my parish was not unique.  Despite the beauty of the organ, organists are becoming rarer and rarer.  And for rural churches, there are fewer and fewer “Marian the Librarian” piano teacher/church pianists.  They simply aren’t available in many places. So, I’ve decided to make it my ministry to provide this resource to remote rural churches and missions where competent keyboardists are not available. 

To make this available to a large number of parishes I formed a company. I also set up the process to obtain the necessary mechanical licenses and make royalty payments to the publishers for songs that are downloaded.
